Privacy Policy for AI Image Changer

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Image Changer ("AI Image Changer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit aiimagechanger.org, create an account, upload images, enter prompts, generate or edit images, purchase credits, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create or use an account, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier;
  • Login and authentication information, including email verification status;
  • Information received from an authentication provider if you choose a supported third-party sign-in method; and
  • Account preferences, credit balance, subscription status, and account activity.

We do not store your full payment-card number or card security code. Those details are handled by the payment provider shown during checkout.

Images, prompts, and generated content

To provide AI image editing and generation, we process:

  • Images and other files you upload;
  • Prompts, editing instructions, selected models, aspect ratios, and generation settings;
  • Generated images, output URLs, task identifiers, and task status; and
  • Technical information needed to deliver, display, and troubleshoot a generation request.

Uploaded images and prompts may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Please do not upload confidential, sensitive, or third-party personal information unless you have the legal right and any required consent to do so.

Payment and transaction information

If you make a purchase, we may receive transaction records from our payment processor, such as:

  • Billing name and email address;
  • Country or region, currency, and tax-related information;
  • Product, plan, credit amount, order number, and payment status; and
  • A payment-provider customer or transaction identifier.

Usage, device, and log information

We may automatically collect information such as:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and language;
  • Pages viewed, referring page, timestamps, feature interactions, and approximate region derived from IP address;
  • Authentication, security, error, and diagnostic logs; and
  • Cookie identifiers and similar technical information.

Communications

If you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message and any information reasonably necessary to respond to or resolve your request.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts;
  • Process uploaded images and prompts and deliver generated results;
  • Track generation tasks, credit usage, purchases, and subscriptions;
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and maintain transaction records;
  • Provide support and send service-related communications;
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and improve the Service;
  • Detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users and the Service;
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
  • Send marketing communications only where permitted by law and with any consent required.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

4. AI Processing and Uploaded Content

The Service uses third-party AI infrastructure, including Kie.ai, to process generation requests. We transmit the information required for a request, which may include your prompt, uploaded-image URL, model selection, and generation settings. The provider returns task status and generated-output information.

We do not use your uploaded images or prompts to train our own AI models. Third-party AI and infrastructure providers process data under their own contractual and privacy terms. Their retention and processing practices may differ from ours.

Uploaded files may be stored with a cloud-storage provider so they can be supplied to the selected AI model and displayed in your account. Generated images may also be hosted by us, an AI provider, or a storage provider.

Do not use the Service for highly sensitive images or information if you are not comfortable with this processing.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, preferences, and core Service functionality. Depending on our active configuration, we may also use analytics services to understand aggregate site usage and improve performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, account, payment, or generation features from working correctly. Where required by law, non-essential cookies will be used only after your consent.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • AI providers, including Kie.ai, to process prompts, reference images, and generation requests;
  • Cloud hosting, database, and storage providers that operate the Service and store account, task, and media data;
  • Authentication and email providers that support sign-in, verification, and service messages;
  • Payment processors that process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, fraud checks, and tax-related information;
  • Analytics and security providers, if enabled, to measure performance and protect the Service;
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect rights and safety; and
  • A successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Service, maintaining account and generation history, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations.

Retention periods vary by data type:

  • Account information is generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • Prompts, task settings, uploaded-file URLs, generated-output URLs, and task records may remain in your account history until deleted, the account is closed, or they are no longer operationally required;
  • Payment and credit records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and financial laws;
  • Security and diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to their purpose; and
  • Backups may retain residual copies for a limited time before they are overwritten.

Third-party providers may apply their own retention schedules. You can request deletion as described below, but some information may be retained where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network transmission, and restricted access to production systems. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and protecting access to your email account and authentication credentials.

9. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, and take steps intended to provide an appropriate level of protection.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or a copy of your personal information;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Receive certain information in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;
  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where applicable; and
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

California residents may also have rights to know the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information; request correction or deletion; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; and receive equal service when exercising privacy rights. We do not sell personal information and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about users.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
